Dave East and Harry Fraud’s “Stay With Me” video pairs street-life reflections with Charlie Doves’ graffiti. Off of the Price of Pain’s Luxury Edition. Dave East talks about divorcing the streets on “Stay With Me,” but the memories keep pulling him back. Calls with incarcerated friends, violence, and a mother grieving her child cut through the success stories, leaving his escape from that life tangled up with loyalty to the people still in it.
