French Montana lost a lawsuit against Waka Flocka’s mother, power manager Debra Antney in 2017. He started out as her client but he signed deals and received money behind her back, which prompted his beef and ended friendship with her son Waka Flocka. Deb is an Atlanta Hip-Hop pioneer, who has worked with the likes of Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, and French Montana over the years.
According to The Blast, Deb’s Mizay Entertainment was awarded $1,999,588.41 in the suit and court documents filed in the sister state judgment allows them to collect the money in the state of California were French resides.
Ms. Antney was award $1,864,012.50 but due to non payment $135,140.91 more was added for interest in the final judgment in January 2018.
The lawsuit was originally filed in 2013 stating French, as her client, went behind her back and made deals w/o her.
Montana has never contested the lawsuit but hasn’t forked over the cash either.
