Lil Wayne has been involved in his share of lawsuits over the years but most of the time he’s been the person being sued. Well according to TMZ Weezy has flipped the script & decided to sue Quincy Jones III aka QD3 over his documentary The Carter.
According to the lawsuit, Wayne cooperated & authorized the shooting of the documentary during the process but Wayne says he didn’t authorize the use of his music in the documentary. He also added that he didn’t like the documentary & it was a “scandalous portrayal” of his life. Hmmmm. Something doesn’t sound right about this but oh well. Wayne is seeking unspecified damages and an order prohibiting the producers from using his music.
