Chris Lighty, founder of Violater Management & the man that is personally responsible for the success of 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Ja Rule, LL Cool J, Missy Elliot, Q-Tip & many, many more, was found dead in his apartment from an apparent self inflicted gun shot to the head. According to NY Daily News, after an argument with his estranged wife, neighbors heard a single gunshot. Shortly after, Lighty was found lying face down in his Bronx apartment with a 9mm handgun laying beside him. Police have speculated that Lighty was having financial problems after his divorce last year & also owed the IRS around $5 million is back taxes.
