The ongoing investigation into the unsolved murder of Christopher Wallace, better known as Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie for short, has been rejuvenated by some new information that was uncovered a couple of months ago. The info can’t be revealed in detail due to the case possibly involving Los Angeles police officers.
According to CNN, there is a task force made up of local & federal agencies that have been actively pursuing leads. An anonymous law enforcement source says the investigation has received some new pertinent information which will be pursued by the task force hoping to bring closure to the 13 year old case.

Through her lawyer Perry R. Sanders, Jr, Voletta Wallace has issued a statement saying she is “greatly pleased with any advancement” of the investigation. She still plans to keep her distance stating she wanted to “make certain [they] don’t interfere in the investigation” & that Their number one concern has always been the resolution of the criminal investigation.” Hopefully something will come out of this new info.
